ABC Youth nurtures a Christlike community for teenagers in grades 6th-12th by creating a safe space for all, cultivating relationships, equipping for a life of faith, and putting faith into action.
We come together as a community
We all gather in the Youth Place at 9:30am as a large group to catch up, share announcements, introduce the morning’s focus, and pray together.
Age groups engage in conversational Bible study relating their lives to faith and the world. Age groups are Middle School, 9th-11th, and Seniors.
On Sunday afternoons we meet in the Youth Place from 5pm-7pm for fun, food, fellowship, and faith formation. Middle school and high school students meet separately but at the same time. One group engages in group discussion guided by scripture and focused on the intersection between God’s calling and our response while the other group plays games. After combining for a snack together, the two groups switch.
We take a midweek break together
Youth Handbells: Youth gather at 5pm to practice special music for worship.
Family Meal: Our church family gathers at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall for a shared church-provided meal (registration and payment required in advance). Youth are invited to participate and/or bring their own food.
Youth Hang Out Time and Music & Worship Arts: We gather in the Youth Place at 6pm to simply hang out. Bring a book, homework, game, or just yourself. At 6:30pm, youth are invited to participate in Music & Worship Arts until 7pm.
