The Youth Ministry at Ardmore Baptist Church exists to cultivate a Christlike community focused on creating a safe space for all teens, equipping teens in their spiritual life now and in the future, and guiding teens to put faith into action.
Sunday mornings are an opportunity for teens to come together as a community.
We gather at 9:30 AM as a large group to check-in, go over announcements & celebrations, and pray together.
We break into Bible study groups based on grade level: 7th/8th grade, 9th/10th grade, 11th/12th grade. These groups engage in conversational Bible study that is meant to connect with a teens life stage and what is happening in our world.
We gather for games and Bible study or tuned in. Bible study and tuned in alternate weeks throughout the school year.
begins with games like 9-square and other large group games. The group then transitions to Bible study where the group discusses various topics and utilizes scripture to guide conversation. The focus in this Bible study time is for teens to see the intersection between faith and life.
is a gathering that connects creativity with celebration. During the first part teens choose from various breakout groups like handbells, tech trainings, and missions and the arts. The second part is focused on worship and preparing teens to lead in Sunday morning worship through a variety of ways that fit their gifting.
As a ministry we enjoy connecting with teens in various ways from screaming as we go down roller coasters at amusement parks to building relational connections at retreats. We look to provide experiences that speak to all kinds of students, whether we are serving at our local bus station, going to a summer camp, or leading on an international mission trip we believe there is something for everyone.
Welcome to the youth ministry at Ardmore Baptist Church. I am Dane Martin, the Minister with Students. I am passionate about meeting students where they are in life and walking with them through their questions and doubts. As we share in the ministry, there is room for everyone at God’s table and there is room for all in this youth ministry.
