The Youth Ministry at Ardmore Baptist Church cultivates a Christlike community by creating a safe space for all teens, equipping them in their spiritual life now and in the future, and guiding them as they put faith into action.
Sunday mornings we come together as a community
We gather at 9:30 AM as a large group to catch up, share announcements & celebrations, and to pray together.
Our Bible study groups based on grade level: 7th/8th grade, 9th/10th grade, 11th/12th grade. These groups engage in conversational Bible study relating a teen’s life stage with a faithful response to what is happening in the world around us.
On Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm, we connect the creativity and gifts of youth with celebration. Teens choose breakout groups like handbells, missions and the arts, or tech trainings. Each group then focuses on preparing youth to lead in Sunday morning worship through a variety of ways that fit their gifting.
On Sundays at 5:00pm, we transition to games like 9-square and other large group games that encourage fellowship and group bonding. After a lots of laughter and fun, we enjoy a light snack around tables before a group discussion guided by Scripture and focusing on the intersection between God’s calling and our response.
Welcome to our Youth Ministry! As Ardmore’s Interim Youth Pastor, I’m delighted to be here while we search for our next Associate Pastor of Youth and Missions. I know that you will receive the same warm welcome that I’ve experienced in this incredible Youth Group, and I invite you to join us weekly as we grow our faith and our friendships here at Ardmore Baptist Church! If you have any questions or would like to connect with us, I would love to hear from you at scothran@ardmorebaptist.org.
