Grow and Thrive

Youth

The Youth Ministry at Ardmore Baptist Church cultivates a Christlike community by creating a safe space for all teens, equipping them in their spiritual life now and in the future, and guiding them as they put faith into action.

Sundays

Sunday mornings we come together as a community

We gather at 9:30 AM as a large group to catch up, share announcements & celebrations, and to pray together.

Faith and fellowship

Our Bible study groups based on grade level: 7th/8th grade, 9th/10th grade, 11th/12th grade. These groups engage in conversational Bible study relating a teen’s life stage with a faithful response to what is happening in the world around us.

Community for Every Age

Worship & Music Arts

On Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm, we connect the creativity and gifts of youth with celebration. Teens choose breakout groups like handbells, missions and the arts, or tech trainings. Each group then focuses on preparing youth to lead in Sunday morning worship through a variety of ways that fit their gifting.

Games & Bible Study

On Sundays at 5:00pm, we transition to games like 9-square and other large group games that encourage fellowship and group bonding. After a lots of laughter and fun, we enjoy a light snack around tables before a group discussion guided by Scripture and focusing on the intersection between God’s calling and our response.

Other opportunities

Ardmore Youth Ministry exists to make connections with teens. Whether connecting on retreats, serving at our local bus station, going to a summer camp, leading on international mission trips, or screaming on roller coasters at Carowinds, Ardmore Youth offers something for everyone.

from Will

Welcome to Ardmore Baptist Church’s Youth Ministry! As the Associate Pastor of Youth and Missions, I know that we’re going to have so much fun together as we grow in our faith and in our relationships with one another. I invite you to join us as we participate in both the fun and the sacred as we figure out who we are and whose we are here at Ardmore Baptist Church. If you have any questions or would like to connect further, I would love to hear from you at wraybon@ardmorebaptist.org.
