From Lee:

I like to spend time with family and friends, read a good book, be near water, be creative with random art projects, and learn the world from my son’s perspective. I enjoy baking, practicing spiritual disciplines, being in nature, eating the food from our garden, and yoga.

Watching children experience God’s goodness inspires me. Children have a way of seeing what we adults forget to make room for in our day to day life. They dream the impossible and still know that God will be there with them as they try to reach their dreams. I keep learning of children who see a need and, with God’s help, will pour all their energy into meeting that need. I am also inspired by each person I encounter who feels called to serve God, in big and small ways, and pushes through to answer that call. So please, find me and share your story with me.

Fun facts about me: I learned the 10 commandments, all the books of the Bible, and all 50 states in the U.S. through songs as a child and still know them today! Ask me to sing any of them and I will. I do periodically break into song about everyday ordinary life even if I am not really gifted at singing. I also thoroughly enjoyed reading the Harry Potter series and love to think through them from a theological perspective.
